related to Redesign PMs into a kind of Roleplay

I received a message this morning from somebody that was directed at one of my characters, and I would like to reply as that character, but I have no idea which character of mine they sent the message to! The only solution I can think of is to ask them.

Please update private messages to indicate which of our characters a message is directed at!

I'm uh... trying to figure out how this hasn't come up before ...

Unless it's the first message between people, you can hit "conversation" and it will give you a good indication as to whom (it'll say the character you last used to talk to them with). Though a better, more integrated system would be better.

Kain: Unless they've just now messaged a different character of yours. ;)

Note that the new suggestion text for messaging system basically blows this problem away by making PMs a subset of roleplays.

Which one will fix the problem more quickly?

This seems like an issue that needs a patch soon, and a more thought out and time consuming improvement later.
