Can we just call this degradation?
I don't think this is the same as degradation, if the description there is accurate.

It still sounds mighty similar to me. Removal of agency is one of the most popular ways degradation is fictionalized.
I've thought about it and I think the way I'd use this is involved in degradation. Maybe I'll come back one day in the future to request an Agency Removal all on its own, but I'll rename this to Degradation.
