So the whole "why split up demihuman" question keeps coming up when someone suggests a species that's covered by it. One of the things that comes up is no longer being able to search for all the specifics by the generic "demihuman" name. That is fine to want, but leaves those who want to be any more specific out in the cold. Animals get to be very specific (justly, for reasons like furries being here), but notions about actually having some specific options for demihuman types come up against opposition and that's not really fair or working for some of us.
I'd like to see a demihuman-type alias we can apply to Human, Demihuman, Goblinoid and whatever other demihuman-type options might show up. I'd also like to see an Animal alias that can be applied to all the animal species (including dragon). So, find animal profiles and find demihuman(?) profiles will both find results from a diverse range of species choices, or whatever other alias we go with.
Now people can still search for their things, and we can afford to get more specific in species without anyone losing searchability.
I am not suggesting a removal of the demihuman option, let me make that clear. It's still enormously useful.
(We may want to apply that to the bovine, antelope and caprid optioms that came through - the alias for all three can be bovid, which means they'd have two aliases. Same might go for other groupings.)
