Some ads are objectionable and seeing them repeatedly is unwelcome. So, I think I should be able to hide specific ads, and never see them again ever ever (including if I access the site from another device, so store this server-side).
I think when mousing over an ad (home page, rp ideas, etc, but especially home page) I should see a link that says "hide this ad" which does this.
The ad should disappear and be replaced with another ad, so that it doesn't impact how many ads we see.

I would suggest editing this feedback into two separate requests for blocking functions. As it stands if I support A but not B do I endorse or no? You had me right up until the line breaking the two parts, everything below the line I'm not in favor of.
Yes, that's fair. Since that's a separate feature I'll delete that portion, break it off into a new feedback, and reference back to this one.
and boom, here's hoping I'll remember to check back once it's been cleared so I can endorse it. Totally support this idea, no need to clutter up your ads with things you have 0 interest in. Bonus points if it can cycle through a person's other ads, because people have a variety of interests. Ultra bonus points, if you can block ads by tags you don't want at all, but under my own comment that's probably best as a separate suggestion.
