I'd like to be able to roll fudge and exploding die. The proposed syntax:
fudge:
4df -> Name rolls 4df and gets 1!
explode:
6d9! -> Name rolls 4d6 and gets 20 with one crit!
Can only explode once.
6d9!2 -> Name rolls 4d6 and gets 24 with two crits!
Can explode twice.
6d9!! -> Name rolls 4d6 and gets 29 with three crits!
Can explode for n number of dice.

I think this syntax works perfectly for me.
I understand absolutely none of this... what's the point in having dice that don't behave like dice?

They're both dice, but used in different systems for different reasons.
