Clarify your pacing, posting, & availability in your Ads (rejected)
When setting up a new roleplay with someone, there might be a lot of questions to ask. What if some of these questions could be answered right in the Ads? And they could also improve Ad searches.
Roleplay styles, each optionally attachable to Ads. (Or set at the profile, which then set as default to all new ads)
Pacing (minimum number of posts preferred per day)
Posting (fluid / real time only / real time only + single session)
Real time availability (range of hours automatically accounting for time zones)
Pre-RP planning (fluid / none / brief / thorough)
And perhaps other ideas?

More options might include tense and person, a unified scale of expected skill (Iwaku has a nice scale that isn't based on length), and an expected post length range (for example, two to twenty lines).
Some of this seems like things you'd always answer the same with? Particularly things like availability. That seems like it would be better suited on the profiles in some capacity, or even account (and then displayed on the profile).
I could imagine most of these usually being the same too, but very occasionally not. Would it work to set them at account/profile, and then when making a new RP, it takes those as defaults, which can then be adjusted? Hmm.
With this in mind, I am rejecting this, to avoid creating a needlessly unique system for roleplays, when a more holistic solution is available. These being profile traits lets us "inherit" them in the roleplay as well, which solves the issue of needing to specify them every time.
Got something to say?
