While the purpose behind mandatory makes sense, those who enjoy many interests may desire a higher preference than 'yes'. This will be for items that are not MANDATORY and a CORE of the character, but are things that the character really enjoys. I understand that on other sites favorite alone did not work, but I believe that a five staged system makes more sense over all. This would then range from 'no' in between 'yes' in between' and 'mandatory' .
