Feedback ยท Remembering profile theme (while in Incognito mode) (solved)

When I log into the site, and choose a certain theme, then log out and log in back again, the theme is remembered - but only if I'm not using the browser's hidden browsing (incognito mode). I take it this is because the information about the theme is stored in cookies or the like. Is there a chance for some profile settings like the theme to be saved on the server's side, so that even if I'm using private browsing, such settings will be remembered, and I don't have to set them again every time I log in?

The clarification was edited into the main description. T'was my mistake, I didn't know that the Incognito mode didn't save cookies on the computer.

(a) Yes, there's a Theme cookie. (For me it's set to ~/dark/blue).

(b) Incognito/private browsing doesn't disallow new cookies nor allow access to your existing ones. It creates a new, siloed-off browsing session that has its own storage and cookie bin (initially empty), and when you close the incognito/private browsing windows all that storage gets flushed.

Let's not worry about how I implement things, please! It's done with cookies, and there's just a minor logic error with setting them. Yes, it is persisted.

On sign-in, the theme from your account should be set now.
