Feedback ยท Body Mods as a Trait group (implemented)

This would allow a character to have several body mods at once. We could have something akin to the following traits:
Amputee
None
Minor (things like finger(s), ear(s) and so on)
Major (one or more limbs - hand(s), leg(s), tail(s), wing(s); or castration, breast removal, penectomy, etc. )

Brandings
None
Discreet (can't be seen when in normal attire)
Exposed (in visible places - face, hands, neck)

Piercings
None
Sexual
Mild (Little-to-medium amounts in typical places; ears, belly-button, lips, nose, tongue)
Extreme (either extreme amounts or highly severe - including stretching big holes in body and the like)

Tattoos
None
Mild (up to several tattoos that cover up to half of the body)
Extreme (close to whole body covered, or things like tattooing eyeballs)

Implants
None
Sexual
Cybernetic
Other?

Scars
None
Mild (scars that cover relatively small percentage of body (below 25%?) and are not very deep)
Substantial (deep scars and scarring that covers substantial percentage of the body)
Extreme (Big percentage of body covered, substantial damage to body like lack of cheeks, eyelids, burned away face and the like)

I'm okay with this as a movement. This will just need some endorsement before I can on it.

I think the key here is proper categorization. To me, it shouldn't be about amount but more like some sort of severity/classification, like this:

Amputee

  • None
  • Minor (things like finger(s), ear(s) and so on)
  • Limbs (one or more limbs - hand(s), leg(s), tail(s), wing(s))

Brandings

  • None
  • Discreet (can't be seen when in normal attire)
  • Exposed (in visible places - face, hands, neck)

Piercings

  • None
  • Sexual
  • Mild (Little-to-medium amounts in typical places; ears, belly-button, lips, nose, tongue)
  • Extreme (either extreme amounts or highly severe - including stretching big holes in body and the like)

Tattoos

  • None
  • Mild (up to several tattoos that cover up to half of the body)
  • Extreme (close to whole body covered, or things like tattooing eyeballs)

Implants

  • None
  • Sexual
  • Cybernetic
  • Other?

Scars

  • None
  • Mild (scars that cover relatively small percentage of body (below 25%?) and are not very deep)
  • Substantial (deep scars and scarring that covers substantial percentage of the body)
  • Extreme (Big percentage of body covered, substantial damage to body like lack of cheeks, eyelids, burned away face and the like)

Johnny Anderson

I went ahead and updated it with your list Rael because that one makes sense to me as well.

Ayla Laurentia

With body mods (and subsequently, cybernetic implants), can we open up the Setting trait group to include Cyberpunk as a trait category?

Roel

If you suggest it I will endorse, Ayla. Seems it is not there just because nobody was initially interested.

Roel

I think it is reasonable, Dragon - I was making these up somewhat in haste, which is why they will appear rough and need more officially worded descriptions - initial intent was to just show the concept behind categories as I would do them.

This has enough support for me to implement it. I will need to finish my refactor work before this can be done, but will be quick whence that is done.

Roel

Basing on discussion in chat, I tinkered a bit with the categories where it was possible, and made some proposed wordings.
