Like in title - is more intuitive and expected behaviour.
Additionally, makes for less issues with age-wall, not forcing NSFW profiles to find main image that is SFW, while simple cropping of icon showed nothing requiring 18+ age anyway

Would like some opinions on this. Not too interested in having the thumb nails do wildly different things depending on what page you're on.
On the profile page, I'd expect the images to link to full-size ones, but everywhere else they'd be the same, which would mean that they'd lead back to the profile's page, as opposed to the full image. I support this.

I'm behind it too - it seems very easy to click on the image, thinking you're going to go to the profile, and wind up with a different result. Happens to me.
Toooooootally agree. I always end up clicking on someone's profile picture when I shoulda actually clicked on the name?!? Yeah. When you want to see pictures, its IN THE PROFILE! \o/ hahaha.
