Feedback ยท Ability to edit roleplays directly before or during their finished state. (implemented)

I'd like to be able to edit a roleplay that's considered finished, to make it more presentable to public view.

I'm a lot more comfortable with this than the 5-minute or single-edit idea, because:

  • does not meaningfully impact chat
  • does not really encounter trolling edits (possible, but way less likely)
  • does not really require me to implement a wiki system to save each edit revision
  • is time-limited (assuming it's not the 'finished' status)
  • still encourages you to spell check before posting, instead of after posting

I think that, if anything, it could affect only situation where you play with rage'y people, not trolls. The latter just won't wait for roleplay to end; for those who rage and go full 'I will deface this roleplay' there are things in the voting that would affect ability to show the play publicly only with consent of all, so it does minimize risks. I can't think of any way to really affect those, though... if the raging guy is owner, he can easily put stuff in edit mode - then again, it won't be finished anyway. And defacing when somebody else is an owner doesn't seem possible because in 90% cases owner just won't open the 'editorial mode' because he/she will be aware the other one is going to do that - can't imagine any silent drama.

So... yes, it leaves some holes but they should be manageable and losses possible to minimize.

If the only problem with this is people being troll-y or having malicious intent after the fact, I'm pretty much okay with it, still. While my experience with the RP community as a whole has been very short, I think I'm okay with having to live with bad apples trying to ruin the apple pie.
