There's some limited real estate there so the question becomes: why?
Maybe we could make private ones with darker background on their respective bars, if anything.
But I am unsure why tag those everywhere with private/public.
It's simply nicer to go to your list and see all the info about it, rather than opening the RP to see the info. Frankly, it's more important to see public/private than it is to see that it is chat or not. But why not both? Icons would save a lot of space. The font is huge on that list, too, and the total space dedicated to each RP in the list is enormous. At least you added the indicator inside the RP, but my concern is choosing what to say in a public RP.
Hmm... maybe we could have an icon then, and add the 'trimmed' avatar as they appear on Active Friends and all of that? Rectangular ones, I mean.
It would make it all smaller. And icons don't add much to it then.

My question is why, not how. I'm sure it could be fit, I just don't see the use case in:
I did give a reason for why in my reply. I'll amplify for you, though, free of sarcasm even: it is easy to not know which are public when you have a dozen or two that were started by other people. This is currently made worse by the fact that those RPs can be set to public without your control or knowledge. When you have a dozen or two RPs, which will be a rather small number when this really gets going, it is a bit of a hassle to open up even just the RPs you care about to see if they are public or private. Then there is the fact that you made 'space' the only conditional issue. That invites comments, given the fact that the list in question isn't exactly space-efficient at the moment. Finally, here's a valid reason if you were really interested in one: Why not? The information is there. It literally takes a few pixels of screen space to show a symbol indicating 'Public'. (Also turning the (chat) indicator into a symbol would actually save space, to say nothing of changing the ridiculously-large font and waste of space of each list item.) It is more than just a simple, trivial curiosity whether it is public. What happens when I have a hundred of these things in my list? It would be nice to sort by private. Maybe instead of an 'indicator', if that is a problem, then an additional listing-filter that just lists your public RPs, and one that lists private.
(deleted a proper, non-sarcastic use of a list to offer suggestions on etiquette, not that you don't still need the list.)
Ultimately this is feed back of what I want, with a reason given of why I want it. It doesn't really even matter if it is a critical thing. It's just feedback. Most of these feedbacks, even before the changes of the last couple of weeks, are pretty minor things. You tout that you want to get feedback, then not read the comment and come back with an over-the-top and frankly, ignorant and poorly-considered, self-embarrassing, sarcastic remark. I mean, even if I had left out any specific reason, you should just honestly ask another question and/or ignore the entire Feedback quietly until it gets more comments. sigh
Additionally, with all that space being used up now, it could also indicate in My Roleplays who the last poster was.
I agree with Anne that there seems to be more than enough space when I look at My Roleplays. It could go next to the RP title, or it could go in a small subtext line below the RP title. Similar to how interests show up.
I think that there's absolutely nothing wrong with there being more information. Information is power, and the more you can see at a glance, the better. I understand WA's concern about overbloating a UI, and overcomplicating a system, but there's a point where too much caution can limit potential. Requests like these should be discussed, but in this case it's pretty clear that there's more than enough real estate for more information than is currently provided.
Can this be opened up for me to throw my endorsement points at?
I already have three pages of RPs. About one page is actual ads that have not passed true staging stage, with only one or zero respondents, and a lot of them are PMs that should really filter out of 'My Roleplays' and go into the PM Inbox or a different RP filter instead, but its starting to get big. Personally, I like the compact display of the "All Roleplays" that already uses icons, and shows info you can't see on 'My Roleplays' and then vice versa, 'My Roleplays' shows info you can't see on the other lists. And then the only place you can see a list of RPs with last-respondent shown is in Inbox:My Recent Roleplays. Finally, the only way to see which of 'My Roleplays' are private is to go into each RP, or check over on 'All Roleplays' and compare long lists against each other, which isn't easy with multi-page lists. I like both the compact view and the full view with avatars, so maybe a switch could show them either way, but I really want to see as much information as possible to avoid having to click around the site so much.
