There's a small quirk in the profile editor that messes up the tab order for interests. Specifically this makes it tricky to just tab through interests filling in details using the keyboard, and makes the mouse a necessity. This occurs in the latest Chrome and Firefox on Windows 8.1.
Here's how to replicate the quirk:
- Start editing a profile.
- Find any interest in any of your lists. Type something into its additional context field.
- Hit tab, to focus on the give/take dropdown.
-
Wait a second for the give/take dropdown to lose focus.
- In Firefox, the browser's visual focus indicator — the dotted rectangle inside the box — will jump to a random other give/take dropdown box.
-
Hit tab again.
- In Chrome, you'll jump to the top of the page with keyboard focus on the litphoria name.
- In Firefox, you'll jump to the top of the interests list with keyboard focus on the first one.
