Right now, when you have Mandatory Interests they are not separated from other column's names almost at all, making them blend very hard at low amounts of them and a bit when there is more - actually allowing for possibility of people missing their existence. I would like additional space under them and perhaps another horizontal rule.

I could see another horizontal rule, but they are still just interests. Something too different would be more distracting than helpful.
