I'm thinking this could supplement the current None category in the Nipple size trait, since a category needs to be selected for trait likes/dislikes to show up in a profile.

Hmmm. I'm not really sure about having two categories which indicate basically the same thing.

This was a headscratcher for me too. Fundamentally people with no nipples need a category to select before they can announce preferences, but someone with no nipples more accurately has nipple appearance: N/A

I'm kinda bad at the whole "what's good for other users" thing, but would many people really need to search for someone with no nipples specifically? For me, I like to supplement the choices with a little bit of text anyway, so maybe writing in the fact that your character doesn't have nipples in one of the text boxes for breasts or something would be easier? Just a suggestion for you in case this doesn't get implemented.

Technically, none of these traits should have a none choice. You shouldn't have to pick all the traits to just say none in them all. Simply not picking them is a choice of none. Who is going to search on nipple size of none? Or nipple appearance of none? Maybe this is where we would want to search on the absence of a trait in general?

However, if I had to pick one place where you would want none, it might be in Nipple Appearance, rather than Nipple Size. Not Applicable or N/A would work well in one sense, but no-one is going to search on any of these terms. The real reason to pick them would just be to remove your profile from other searches, but again, that is accomplished by not using the non-applicable trait at all in the first place. If the intent is to find a profile that has breasts (or pecs), but no nipples, then I want to say there has to be a better way to do that than to have to construct a search like: find profiles with NOT(breast size of none), AND (nipple appearance of none OR nipple size of none), which I'm not even sure is possible at all, currently. The logical operators and parentheses are not currently used, and only show the concept of the search string required to find profiles that have breasts with no nipples, assuming none gets added to Nipple Appearance.

Setting prefs is good, true, so not-applicable is a better term if all you want is to express the profiles preferences. Personally, I'd rather set N/A on a trait and select preferences, than "dismiss" a trait, and yet still be able to set preferences on it, and have it show on my profile anyway so that the preferences can be shown. Perhaps rather than "Dismiss" OR adding N/A to a whole bunch of traits, the whole "Not Applicable" concept is incorporated for all traits such that selecting this option shows the trait as N/A in your profile, and lets you set preferences. Functionally, this would be no different than suggesting N/A on every single trait in the system. But why do that if it could be built in, and automatically show up on every new trait that gets suggested?

After reading the discussion, I've changed it from None to N/A. I do wish there was a better way right this very second, but I think Dragon hit it the nail on the head- go support the feedback on trait dismissal, since it only has 20 points!
