The difference between this and odorants is simple: Odorants is smell, nose-play would be the nose itself. Rubbing a nose against someone's lewd parts, for example, /implies/ there's a smell there a dominant wants a submissive to notice, but it doesn't /require/ it, which Odorants would.

Hmmm, is this nuzzling though? And that sounds like a furry version of it to me.

As far as Oxford dictionary is concerned, to nuzzle means to Rub or push against gently with the nose and mouth. Similar definition is provided by Merriam-Webster (people involved with Encyclopaedia Britannica).

Given that, I would suggest changing this to:

Nuzzling
Expresses an interest in character rubbing nose or face against another to express affection

Yeah, but this just says "rubbing a nose into a thing" and doesn't mention anything about the "affection" bit.

This is not nuzzling, actually, though I suppose that would be related. Nuzzling would be to express effection, this would be just... for the purposes of doing this! Kinks don't have to make sense :p I have seen people have interest in it, though.

They need to make enough sense to have actual, summarising description, I would say. Unless it just ends up with:
