Feedback ยท Retain and display order of Interests selected in Roleplay to indicate importance. (in review)

When selecting Interests in a Roleplay, permit ordering them (by order of selection, if not by drag and drop re-ordering). The order would indicate importance of the Interest within the roleplay. Right now, order appears to be by index number/creation date. This makes it seem like BDSM or Sex are the most important things for all roleplays that include them as Interests, due to their sort order. The fact that it is not in alphabetical order can lead people to think that they were selected in that order, and that Sex is the most important thing, as an example.

Seems like it would be more "correct" to sort them alphabetically everywhere, then later, when the ability to vote on roleplay interests comes along, have another sort for that.

I think alphabetical is better than current, myself, because it doesn't imply that BDSM is my most important interest, which it never is. However, I find myself selecting interests in order of how important they are to the roleplay, and then that is lost. It would be great if that could be indicated, that while there are a bunch of incidental interests, there may be one or more absolutely mandatory ones, or a few 'core' interests.

I seem to remember some discussion somewhere or other about this. RP Interest ranking is often not the same as Profile interest ranking. Especially for Switches like me. For example, there will be RPs where something like Non-consensual will be Core or Mandatory, and others where it won't be an interest at all. Ordering them is a simplistic way to show that, but using the Mandatory/Core/Yes categories in RP would be ideal.

I did a search, but I can't find anything about voting on RP interests. The phrase itself doesn't sound relevant, actually.
