Modify definition of 'Bigender' (implemented)
Currently, Bigender
reads as
A character that identifies as both male and female, or can switch between the two.
While it actually means only the first part (identifying as both) while the latter is actually Genderfluid
. I would like Bigender
's definition reduced to
A character that identifies as both male and female.
After this suggestion comes through, I would put a feedback about introducing Genderfluid
.

It seems that Wikipedia finds the current definition ok while the gender wiki agrees with what you're promising to change it to. (And both are wikis and could both be wrong.) This is confusing.
Proposing to change it to.*
The current definition was clearly written to include gender fluid in it, so we may want to consider that's what people find most useful. As it is, I'm not terribly sure it will be all that useful to distinguish these two, particularly for cisfolk
I guess Genderqueer
as a name could work - some accuracy would be good, as there is not only what is useful but also 'how people for whom it is relevant feel about it'.
Which is a big deal, despite some sites just not caring (Flist and their 'genders').
Keep bigender, it has its own distinct meaning and there's no reason to replace it.
If genderqueer should be here it should not replace all nonbinary options. It's an enormous category with third gender and other stuff in it - which means it's vague, which means having more specific options where they actually have a common term is more useful, like in the case of bigender.
It seems like most of the people who are using Bigender that I've seen are using it under the "Varying Between Male and Female" definition of it, yeah. However, I see the point in changing its description to be more definite and adding a Genderqueer or Genderfluid option simply for people who identify as such and I think that it's worth it.
Seems to be split opinion on this, so I will open up to endorsements to see if there's much support for this.
Because of the high amount of endorsements on this, I have changed the definition. We can revisit this later (possibly adding more categories) as need be.
