Is this meaningfully different from celebrity?
In my mind - Celebrity is for a pop-star, Authority is for a nobel-prize geneticist. Difference of being famous vs being respected by people delving in specific field.

Which is part of the reason I think that category should just be famous to match our infamous. I don't really know if people are going to want to split hairs when looking for famous people like that.
