'Like all' and 'Dislike all' for setting preferences (implemented)
Setting preferences can be a bothersome task currently, especially when we deal with some of the more category-rich traits (like species, for example) which means we need ungodly amount of clicks to give our stance on every single one of them.
I would like to have two buttons introduced, which would basically dump all categories that are not already liked/disliked into positive or negative preferences accordingly to the button clicked. It would make it all easier and less taxing to set, because I could just go set the preferences I have less of (like, dislikes for species) and then make all the other ones be dumped into liked.
If somebody feels the need to have some not-set to show being unsure and such, they will still use less clicks if they do that and un-select one or two, so I think we have a lot to possibly gain here.

I think it'd be more intuitive to have a Select Likes and Select Dislikes button on the Edit Profile page. When you press that button, profile lets you click multiple traits one after another to sort them to the appropriate column, then after you finish, it sets them all in one go.
When I initially prototyped out the creation screen there was an "add all remaining" when you clicked the like/dislike for a given trait. I think that approach may be more appropriate and intuitive, as it would let you add whatever things you want, then add whatever is left over to the opposite category.
It was my intention when I made the suggestion, perhaps I wrote it a bit poorly, WA. Idea was to add remaining, yes.
Got something to say?
