Reminder/Notice for roleplay "Ideas" to move to In Progress (in review)
I've been noticing that more and more RPs are going on in the 'ideas' section of the site, most likely because they aren't aware of how the progress system works/etc. Either way it'd probably be a nice way to help integrate new people and keep the ideas section to just those rps that haven't started yet if there was something in place to let them know how/why to change it. Something at the top of the ideas section saying to change it after the RP gets under way is probably the easiest way, but giving users some sort of a heads up if they're starting to write a longer post on a 'planning' rp might be a smoother way of going about it.

Why have two separate sections for the same content?
@Salem: Basically, it's not the same content. The idea behind the 'ideas' section is that it allows people to easily look over what RPs other members on the site are wanting to start playing, while the other roleplay section is to read those RPs that are already going on. Basically, ideas is supposed to function as 'looking for RP', rather than a full roleplay section in and of itself, which is why having ongoing RPs in there repeatedly taking up the top spaces is an issue.
Regarding the question of what works between the two: I don't really care whether it's either or both. Didn't realize that the other option existed when I suggested this. Both probably work, so it's a question of what people would prefer to see. For that debate I'll recuse myself, given I suggested this xP For the overall? Yeah. something needs to be put into place for this.
Got something to say?
