When you turn a PM into an RP, it is possible to manually invite the character you were chatting with into that RP a second time. This will lead to that character being displayed twice in the overview of RPs.

I too, have managed to do this once. I think I was experiencing high pings, so I tried to invite a second time when the first time appeared not to have worked. I had two icons of the character show up in the RP.

Playing with preventing this on the testing server
I got invited twice just tonight as well to a private one. Now it's twice in my roleplays on my character page, in addition to the symptoms above. @_@

This is now impossible to do, I will play with preventing the UI from telling you can do this later. But the server will prevent it from causing any weirdness (like two listing of the RP on your list)
