The interest just sounds healing as a title but the description body sounds like something more magical or supernatural.

Aren't interests supposed to be actioney? Regeneration or even healing is actioney enough to me. And if you don't know what it would be a preference to, then why not put it as an interest anyway?

Yeah, it would be like having an interest in a character with had a fast or slow metabolism (which is essentially what this is actually). Hence why I wanted to tease out if maybe there was some kind of magical component to it that we could use more accurately as the basis of an interest (healing magic or something).

Both characters take pretty extreme damage during, then afterward just kinda get up and walk away like nothing happened.

Maybe you want an interest for this particular kind of fighting, then? This sounds more like creative liberty with physics/biochemistry than any kind of specific hand-waving (like regeneration).

Well, if you're interested in regeneration only for that specific scenario, it seems like it would be better to have an interest which encapsulates that. Maybe consequence-free fighting? sparring? free fighting? I'm sure we can find a way to label it without resorting to japanese loan words.

Jerah, I interpret tending and healing the way you just described it.

I'm still not sure about this one, especially now that we've got an interest for combat which has no consequences/quick regeneration. Do we still feel this is necessary with that, and why?

We are declining this interest at least in its present state, as we don't feel it's useful and specific enough. There are other similar interests such as the Unrealistic Melee interest pointed out by Wrecked Avent.

For the time being I suggest you express what you want your character to do in roleplay via your interests, and describe their capacity for regeneration somewhere, such as in the Unrealistic Melee interest context or in your character description.
