When I refer people to this site, one of the most common complaints I receive is that "there's this trait but no category in it fits me!". Most recently, that was hair colour, since that one's new and still being filled out. Others have found it weird that there's trait or interest X and Y but no trait/interest Z.

These users don't realise the profile content is all crowdsourced, and I tell them that myself. Luckily, they actually talk to me, and I am actually there to tell them about it!

Those pages should both tell people that they can suggest new stuff. A link to the feedback system somewhere saying "something missing that you need? suggest it!" would go a long way, for instance.
