If posts can optionally be added to the copy, too, that would be perfection. Because then some people can use the functionality to later on delete some of the recent posts, or the second half of the posts for example, then “continue” an alternative path for the story that they have not explored in their first run or roleplay.

Yes, indeed, Harkness! That feature can work as an alternative to the minimal need I referred to. But as the second part of my previous comment explains, “copying” an existing Roleplay may enrich the experience and empower users in more ways.

Wow, that's indeed an awesome feature to add! I'm not interested in what is called “Chat” here because I dislike having any parts of the script disappearing, no matter how old; I like to keep everything. But with a feature like that, I would be enticed to try chat, and whenever I see a post, from me or another, that seems worthy of “logging” or archiving, I would then “extract” it.

To be clear about that 'extract' suggestion, it would be for all roleplays.

In general, something to keep in mind here is I've actually only written one system which fulfills the needs of chat, PM, and roleplay. So a feature that benefits one will necessarily benefit all of them, since they are the same thing in the eyes of the system.

However, that is meant for a more specific use-case where you start off an RP and just make posts, not caring about organziation. Later on, with that, you'd be able to split them up into proper scenes, and appropriately tag them, to make the use of roleplay series more interesting.

I'm not too sure how I feel about a whole say copy-for-copy yet. I'm not sure I like the idea.
