Showcase Ads for "Ads by active users" section. (in review)
The idea is to make one system to make everybody able to achieve whatever they want with their ads - or more specifically, with how they are showcased by activity.
The ad shown in the section would be one of the ads selected by the user from among all the currently made ideas that user has - the site would cycle through them (either randomly or in order) during the cache-refresh. That means, any given user could choose between 0 and all of theirs ideas to make their search for partners more suited towards their needs - with the ability to hide themselves completely if that is what they want.
The main gain is obviously giving the user full power over the process, instead of having it handled arbitrarily - and at the same time, having one framework for every possible selection.

Roel and I chatted about this.
In short, the shown ad is one of a set of selected ads (default to selected), shown in order, in a cycle.
A user's ads may be 'deselected' (a check box called Show in Active Ads, for example), so for those who want only a single current-favorite ad to show, only one will show at a time.
Or three. Or all but the one you're currently tired of doing. Or none (for those that want more privacy).
