I would suggest that the redefinition be applied to a new interest called Age-Roleplay, since that is certainly an accurate term, expressing more acurately the sense of wanting an RP within an RP, which is unique. Don't bother linking to Wikipedia on Ageplay. For live, face-to-face RP, I won't dispute the definition, but when you are on an RP site, it is not the default assumption that you want RP within RP, which is probably the heart of its current misuse on Litphoria.
Then for Ageplay, use the definition: Expresses an interest in a character who's age is significantly different from their own.
I suggest this due to the way Ageplay is predominantly utilized by current characters (not intending to look for RP within RP.) My context note is a case in point:
Ageplay : In the context of how most use the term Ageplay, this is a 'Yes' for me, but only for non-pedophilia ageplay, meaning between a mid-teen to 20's character and a mid-30s to 50s character.
So of course, the standard Lit argument that you can just express that 'interest' in a Trait-Like does not work for me, both because I am willing to RP my character as a range from young adult up to middle-age (which we somehow don't have as an age option yet), and I will RP with the same range, AND have an interest in there being an age difference.
And another option is that an Interest called Age Difference is added that covers mine and other's interest, using the definition I suggest above for Ageplay.
