Delete Outwardness (implemented)
There are better ways to find things associated with a person's willingness to do group/solo activities, such as by searching interests themselves or (eventually) RP capacity. This doesn't add anything except another field to fill in and add preferences to.

It is intended to measure shyness, just there isn't too many words that describe the qualities of "shyness" that aren't, just, well, "shy"
You're free to suggest improvements, of course, but simply saying the trait doesn't do its job isn't going to do much unless you're arguing for total removal.
It seems like you have an issue with the people, not the system itself. I don't see why it should be altered, when people themselves just are not understanding, or using it properly.
I use it as a gauge for my character's persona, which does vary according to the character.
Maybe you should be busied suggesting another trait to describe characters, so you can search for that, rather than altering this.
If it is intended to serve as a shyness level, it could instead be listed as social anxiety level, and have a similar range to the tattoo and branding scale. None, mild, moderate, and extreme. This would cover the varied levels of shyness, while outwardness would represent how a person feels comfortable—around people, or in their own mind.
And lastly, yeah, I'd be happy to suggest a social anxiety trait if people think both are useful. As someone who can only get 20 hits max, going through a few searches leads me to believe that measuring outwardness isn't that worthwhile to a lot of characters though; measuring confidence with people is. But if this is intended to be the social anxiety measurement as indicated, it should say that's what it is, instead of me just suggesting a second one.
Just a quick check - are you aware that searches won't show more than 20 most recently active profiles that fit?
But as far as the trait goes... I can't say how useful it is to people, not haven't done great research, but it was intended to do what it says there. Not as a measure of shyness, but to encompass a bigger piece of character's personality, which is his outwardness. You don't have to be shy to be an introvert - but you will still feel tired of interpersonal contact after a while and need to bury deep in your books, games, your car's engine or doing physical exercises. Same as you don't have to be extremely open to be the type of person that feels unnatural when totally alone and attempts to find some interpersonal contact as much as possible.
I get that some may simplify it to being about shyness but... it is not saying that anywhere on the label.
Precisely, Roel. Just because some people are misusing it, it doesn't mean it should be altered. I'm sure they're are other people who take it into accountability, and are properly using it. That's why I'm pushing at you opening another ticket altogether, and searching for a trait that fits your wants or needs. This one serves it's purpose.
If you wish for this to be a "delete" suggestion, please edit it to be as such, and I'll unblock.
