Feedback · Bring back 'Mark as not interesting' (accepted)

(With apologies to anyone named Mark.)

A while ago, the 'mark as not interesting' got added to Litphoria, and crossed out names. However, it got implemented with a button that read "Mark as read", which meant something different, and people were disturbed by their friends (whose profiles had been read) getting their names crossed out. It was a case of poor communication.

However, the feature was good. I'd like a "Mark as not interesting" button, labelled as such, that crosses peoples' names out in case I don't need to or want to read their profile again. (Some are offputting! I'd rather not!) Their avatars, wherever they show up, should be faded out to 50% or less opacity. Their ads should also be faded out. (Or hidden completely, but there might be some benefit in leaving them there in case they catch our interest again one day.)

Could we have the "Mark as not interesting" button?

(It should probably start off a new list for everyone, and not use the characters people have already marked as read.)

The Mood is Write

This would be a very useful feature. I could see it being popular.

Most certainly, browsing the site would be a lot better that way.
At least looking at Flist's, where at some point you just can't help but keep checking the same people over and over again - it is impossible to remember all these names for all the months.

Pascal

I agree! :D also, making the Ads/entries appear faded would make it nice.

I'm up for this idea.
