Feedback ยท New RP visiblity - Allow people with a link to view this roleplay (in progress)

Pretty much what is in the title - there is no way to selectively allow people to view your RPs - it is either fully public or fully private. I initially thought about having 'Invite user to watch' but that restricts it only to people who already have an account. So, the best idea to go about it is, for me, to simply allow viewing the roleplay as long as you have a link to it.

This might require a share link with a big long GUID like what Google Docs does, since the regular link is just a number.

I like the idea, but I'd hope it would notify the participants in the RP when someone utilizes the link. With the current all or nothing approach everyone has a general idea of the intended privacy of the posts. This suggestion adds an odd Gray area where you might be on what is functionally a public RP because someone plastered the link somewhere.

I just yesterday discovered there's a particular permission combination to get this:

[untick] allow anyone to view this roleplay without an invitation

[tick] allow anyone to post in this roleplay without an invitation

[untick] disallow guests from viewing the roleplay

Theoretically you should be able to visit this chat and post in it, but you won't find it in the lists: a link only channel (litphoria.com)

I made some feedback previously here to redo this set of permissions: combine the two roleplay viewership permissions into one setting (litphoria.com)

I'm confused I think, the way it is worded a character shouldn't even be able to see the rp contents without a direct invitation to participate. Does the first check box actually just remove it from the search lis? If so that check box needs clarification.

Whoops nevermind I am a dingus. That doesn't work at all. Ignore my post.
