It seems like a lot of the profile content is in one column on the DOM. This is great for smaller devices, but with a grid system like bootstrap, it should be possible to have everything in one column when on a mobile device and multiple columns on regular devices. I speaking mostly of the profiles settings where you must scroll a lot to see all your content.

I'm not sure what this is suggesting? It namedrops bootstrap, which the site doesn't use, and complains about scrolling while simultaneously suggesting that there be more scrolling?
I was suggesting it implement a grid system, I know it isn't using one right now. I didn't suggest to add more scrolling, I suggested that things be split into multiple columns that span the page for easier widescreen viewing. The mention of everything being in a single column, particularly on the profile edit and a few other places, was me stating that this sort of thing is okay for mobile, but I don't like it on my desktop.
The site does use a grid system, it just isn't bootstrap. Check out the interests lists while you make the screen bigger and smaller, you'll see it collapses from 4 to 1 column.
Where do you think the site could use more columns in profile edit?
Inside the profile screen for one of your own profiles, the traits section is broken down into major category, sub category, some items that relate to the subcategory, then preferences on those sub categories. This is all done in one column, you have to scroll a bit to get down to the interests area. I think I know why this was done though, the traits section utilizes a second column of space when view other peoples profiles to list preference outright. Still, there is a mighty bit of scrolling involved, unless you un-expand. Since this is just a suggestion thread anyway, might I suggest cards that can be placed in and row and cell and can be populated by whatever piece of JavaScript you are using dynamically.
I don't want to make this post sound like the site is broken, in fact I love it, and from a developer perspective it has a rather modern and nice look, at the same time being functional, but there is always room for improvement. Sorry, I sometimes have a hard time making myself clear with these things.
Got something to say?
