Because that's what it says it is, "knotted" is not very gender neutral, and in RP land folks can have knots without having also otherwise canine genitalia.

I'll say this here, but it covers all three of these similar feedbacks. Why should it be changed? There should possibly be new ones to describe what a canine vulva is like to let it be species-unrestricted, but no reason to get rid of "knotted" in favor of canine, that's being species-ist :p
If someone can describe the differences in the vulvas in a significant way*, then a new feedback can be created to add those descriptors. Or, if someone can describe the difference then I might incline to agree with changing knotted to canine, but it fits its purpose as it is.
*By significant way, I mean simply. "What's a canine penis?" "A penis with a knot" is the answer with the significant difference.
I agree, the descriptions could be changed to do away with the species name in it, rather than make the names both more and less general (apply to both genders but only for a species)

Not only canines have knots, so calling it canine
is at best misleading and at worst incorrect. Particularly in furry land, where any kind of species can have knotted genitalia.
