So, right now the Facial Hair trait is grouped by itself under the "None" trait group rather than the "Body" trait group, which has similar traits. (Hair Length, Hair Color, etc.)
This wouldn't be quite so annoying if trait groups were displayed alphabetically, but the "None" trait group appears first--directly above "Gender".

I think new traits just go to None by default and changing it got overlooked.
