ATM, the definition for species is: A character's species; a taxonomic organizational unit for groups of organisms capable of interbreeding.
Would be better as: A grouping of organisms based on appearance and archetype.

Loki's comment there identifies current issues, as well as provides links to related tickets.
And yeah, I think it makes more sense to group species by grouping up those that logically make sense when searching for rather than scientific definition. That means that some will be more specific than others, which is fine. And, it's already the case anyway.

And what is the proposed alternative definition?
I dig Loki's description. It's vague and hand-wavey a bit, but the way we're using it is vague and hand-wavey.
Same here. I like it.

Can the original suggester edit this description with loki's suggestion, or discuss what they feel would be more appropriate?
Loki's comments are gone, his player cleaned up a bunch of his characters and those disappeared with it. I don't remember what his comments said. The suggested description here still seems OK.

Does anyone else remember what he said? I sure don't.
Got something to say?
