No. Human is specifically defined here as "homo sapiens," and the only thing I would use it for is, well, plain ol' humans. Kemonomimi are, in my experience, almost always characterized as a separate thing, and people have a specific interest in them. Demihumans is currently the catch-all for species that "closely resemble, but are not humans," so this is exactly where they belong.
I can see the argument for giving them Body Type: Human, but categorizing them as a human species is just going to be flat out incorrect for a large number of characters. And if you remove both the reference in demihuman and the body type, there's no functional way to search for kemonimimi anymore.
