Belongs at "supernatural nature" I'd say or the description should be: "A humanoid character..." The description could be more specific. What is with water-elementals? Robots? Both made of normally inanimate material.
A golem is an animated anthropomorphic being, magically created entirely from inanimate matter. Wikipedia
I quoted wiki as an evidence that they are humanoid. You said, the description can not be more specific but I didn't understand why not. I can find a picture of a golem who is not made from normally inanimated material, a flesh-golem.
True and a very good point. But still a golem is not necessarily made of normally inanimate material. Not if that means that there are no pictures/stories with golems who are not. There is no necessary trait of a fictional creature. One could only say it is more typically for a golem to be made of normally inanimate material than to be humanoid.

Sounds like there's some disagreement about this?
Not really. I thought the description is somewhat sparse.
Is it OK now? (Looks alright to me)
Instead "made of" maybe "magically created from".
Got something to say?
