One thing I noticed quickly was how long it takes to scroll up from the bottom of the chat where all the new messages are towards the top where you can see the black litphoria banner.
I think making the chats scrollable would make for a better and smoother experience!

They are scrollable, since the whole page is scrollable! Is there something in particular you need?
Is it to do with getting tugged back to the bottom of the page whenever a new message arrives? If it's that, we could definitely do something to make what you can do clearer - if you don't have the message box in focus, you won't get tugged back down. That interaction could be improved a bit though.
I mean, what if there's like a little boxed area where all the messages are at and if that little boxed area is scrollable? The page is scrollable but it's not exactly quick to scroll from bottom to top if you need to since it displays all messages and it makes the page quite long to scroll in say, the main chat.
The next version of our chat is going to put everything in a scrollable box, coincidentally! You're still going to have to scroll an awful lot though, and I'm not sure how that's avoidable. :'(
She means to not have to scroll up to the buttons at the top of the page. So yeah, if you go to testing.litphoria.com, the chat there is exactly what you mean here.
