What's moderately advanced technology? Modern technology is something I could imagine calling moderately advanced. Might this be something like Ghost in the Shell or Atomic Robo that you're going for, which is modern-ish but the technology's still sorta-anachronistically a few decades ahead of our current modern day?
I could probably use some help getting the wording right. To me, advanced modern has technology that isn't developed yet, but can be used for the story, such as the Marvel movieverse Iron Man suit or Chi from Chobits. Both of those settings appear to be modern for the most part, but feature technologies not available in the real world.
It could also be considered low sci-fi. It's a bit of a hybrid setting, similar to modern fantasy.
Looks good actually. I can't turn up precedent in the googles, I'd call this either Advanced Modern or Modern Scifi. (I'd lean toward the latter, since it sounds like Modern and it sounds like Scifi, which is what it is!)
Can I suggest an oxford comma in your updated description?

Thanks! I'll go ahead and edit that and the title. =D
Since our sci-fi setting has the dash in the name, this one should probably be Modern Sci-Fi for consistency.
I gotchu.
Got something to say?
