The SQL error still happens in chat and now it eats messages (oh no) (solved)

Frequent chatters will recognise a very rare error when sending a message: "SQL insert, update, or bla bla bla something something very long message."
In the old chat it meant your message would fail and you just hit enter again.
In the new chat I just got this... and my message got wiped out with it for me to re-enter it. Bad! Not good! Much worse!
0.1% chance that my message will get wiped out for no reason is going to catch me at a very big post one day. :(
