As it is now, the new chat system keeps IC posts and OOC posts quite similar, with just a little change to a word next to it ...This makes quickly looking through IC or OOC posts a bit difficult. The previous system had vast differences betwene the two type of post, making the IC posts much more visible then the OOC ones.
I would wish for the return of the difference in coloring between the two. IC posts being more visible then the OOC ones!

There are big plans for ooc/ic stuff. You'll be able to filter and hide ic or ooc messages entirely, and you'll be able to "split the view", creating essentially two chats within the same channel, one for ic stuff, one for ooc. It's high on the list of cool stuff, but it'll take a bit before it can be implemented.
