I think 600x400 chat panels might be a bit tiny, illegible and borderline inconvenient to some demographics. I'd like to suggest to add an option to allow users to expand the said interfaces to utilize the whole available screen space.
Below screenshot is to illustrate the point.

There was a suggestion recently in chat to let people resize it by clicking and dragging either edge, like an ordinary desktop window. (Except with the possible addition of remaining symmetrical.)
On desktops with space to spare, a <-> button or something could also be pretty convenient.
Well that code broke but just picture a double pointed arrow pointing left and right.
