If a roleplay is set so that anyone can post into it, it seems to send an inbox notification every time there's a new post, even if the user is already connected to the roleplay.

Is this reproducible on the testing server?
Yes, it is. I joined roleplay testing (testing.litphoria.com), made some posts to make sure I was definitely there, then asked someone in main channel to make a post there. Astarte posted, I got a ping from the channel, and I now have New post in "Roleplay Testing". in my inbox as well.

This is now solved in production. It was caused by having 2+ of your own characters involved in the roleplay. If you were connected as one of them, the other wouldn't be considered connected and still getting inbox updates.
