I refer to this crop, the very squat, wide one. As far as I can tell this crop was only used in the old chat system. It's no longer used anywhere, and we should remove it from the profile editor.
In the future let's stick with avatars that don't far depart from the square aspect ratio, like the first one and the circular ones in chat.
