Construct would be a good term to use. It could be used to imply anything built, created or non-organic which could even include things such as golems, another character type that is currently not represented in any tag

Machine was recently suggested and implemented. Does that correspond to what you were after?
I wonder if "Robot" wouldn't be the better name, even if machine is the broader term. Whatever.
