Action dice don't say what was rolled (confirmed)
When I include an action with my dice roll, like 4dfv "fudges the sprocket"
, it will give me a result but not tell me what the dice roll was. It's important to know what someone is rolling, as much for guiding people and helping them do it correctly, as for preventing cheating. Especially in a system where I can just say 5
for a dice roll and get 5
for the result.

Used to be that 4dfv + "test test" would work (I think) . There's another feedback about how the dice rolls are broken, this might have shown up at the same time because that work around doesn't work anymore.
The 4dfv "fudges the sprocket"
syntax works just fine. It's just that it won't say you rolled 4dfv
to do it. You have literally no idea what roll I typed in.
For any ordinary dice it'll tell you what I rolled:
8:12 PM · (dice) · Korra rolls d6
and gets 5!
(That d6
is the bit I mean.)
But if I use that action syntax, it doesn't tell me that bit:
8:11 PM · (dice) · Korra does a thing! (4)
Did I roll a d4? 4d6? d20? 4df? Did I just type in 4
?
Astarte, the "plus" syntax was formalized into named rolls, like Korra was describing.
Missed that update, good tip to know
It's super cool. I should've explained. <_<;
