Feedback ยท Rule Check (needs discussion)

This only applies to public RPs/Rooms, but this could be particularly useful to avoid issues related to chat/RP rules. Prior to entering the RP, similar to how the agewall works, there would be rules written by the channel/RP owner, forcing people to have to either agree or disagree to the rules. If they Disagree, they aren't granted entrance (for now) if they agree, they can join. This will completely remove the justification of "What rules? I saw no rules"

This is particularly useful for channels intended for specific themes, or for making sure people are aware of certain rules of conduct for the specified channel/RP.

For rooms with both an Agewall, and extra set of rules (Say, a BDSM-focused public RP room), there could be rules about how to handle the scenes (such as a 'No Whiteknight' rule, and explanation that this sort of scene is completely fine in that room) as WELL as the Agewall Check. People would have to click/tap both buttons to show that they agree to both statements: That they are legally entitled to enter the channel, and that they understand the rules and implications of the channel.

Out of points for now, but I'm watching this.

This would end up being like a Terms of Service agreement for the rooms and people don't read them, they just click "ok" It's a nice idea but the "I didn't see rules" thought is already not really an excuse.

I'm also concerned this would have a ToS-like experience. "Sure, whatever, common sense yada yada, ok let me into the room."

If there's a problem with rules visibility (there probably is, it's tucked away in the setting a lot of experienced users might not know to access), we could probably solve it some way by making rules more prominent the moment you land in the chat somehow.
