Feedback ยท A way to indicate whose turn to post it is... or at least whether it might be mine (in review)

I've got a roleplay going and for the past month, I thought it was waiting on the other person - because whenever I checked it said "last post by (me)". Turns out that was an OOC comment of mine! The last post was actually theirs, and it was my turn!

It might be pretty useful to give me a solid indicator of whether it might be my turn (disregarding post order, because I feel forcing a post pattern upon us is not a good "fix" for this). For example, tell me who made the last IC post as well as who last posted overall (these will often be the same person of course), or let me "tag" someone else for the next post (there might be just one option), or something.

Another idea I had on this subject is to modify inbox notifications slightly so that they would have three states, active, pending, and deleted, instead of just active and deleted. A new post in a roleplay would generate a new inbox notification that was activeand these are the ones that color the inbox link at top and make toast notifications in chat and all of that. Then, after you click on it, it'll go into the pending state. It'll only go away from pendingafter you post to the RP (or manually clear it out), and would live somewhere in the inbox as a kind of todo list in the mean time.

The reason to update inbox notifications to have these states is for other functions, like if someone's comment is needed in feedback, or for profile friend requests, or other things like that.
