Feedback ยท "Genitals" & "Genital Type" (needs discussion)

So basically I ran into this problem when I was making a new character, which is some of the incompatible joining when the genitals and genital type traits. For instance, in this situation I am experience, I am making a feral bird. As such, the genital type trait is filled up as "cloaca", which is his genital type, but when I move to genitals I am at a cross-roads.

For you see, genitals only has the options of "hermaphrodite", "penis", "vagina", "none". A cloaca does not consist of any of these characteristics, and would also extend to feature a bit of a problem for someone creating a character aligned in a certain manner, such as mine. In any case, it would be appreciative if an "other" option could be added to the genitals trait, maybe for cloacas, hemipenes, papilla, et cetera.

this is actually an unintended side-effect of renaming sex to genitals and the options from male and female to penis and vagina.

It might be better to change them back, imho! If it was just male it could fit in for characters who are men but do not have a penis, such as feral birds with the cloaca.

we had a problem with transgender people feeling extremely uncomfortable describing their genitalia as "male" when they were MtF or vice versa

But what if the bird is an anthro and has a penis?

Then the body type would be "anthro" and the genitals would be "penis" and the genital type would be "human" (or whatever kind of penis it is), and the species would be "bird".

I meant if "penis" is changed back to "male", but there is still "genital type" of course.

If with genital type it was changed to male instead of penis, then it would still be the same.

Genitals - male

Genital type - human

species - bird
