If I right-click the text box and paste in text, then send a message, the "X is typing" won't go away until I send a new message.

It's not just you, I just checked this on our testing server. If you try to blank those two fields, the blanking doesn't stick. Once you refresh, it'll revert to whatever you had in there previously.
(By that I mean blank -> save your profile -> let it finish doing that -> then refresh)
Wow I'm an idiot I meant to leave those comments on trait description is bugged (litphoria.com). So ignore those messages.
I do get this as well though when that paste is my whole message & I hit enter to send it.
