Whenever I open a chat, whether it be a public chat or a PM, it simply keeps loading on loop without ever finishing. I can not message anyone or continue my in progress RP's, please help.

i experience this same problem and it really frustrates me. You're losing people Litphoria
I was able to find a fix to it from a friend. Just edit your profile a little bit, like add/remove a kink, edit text, or anything else and It should fix it.
Its not a huge problem but its irritating having to re open the site to be able to type.
